Diagnosis & Treatment

Diagnosis and treatment is provided by physicians and consultants for a wide range of conditions, including:

• Birth defects
• Congenital abnormalities
• Down Syndrome and other chromosomal abnormalities
• Development delay
• Autism/PDD
• Neurogical issues
• Orthopedic issues
• Hemangiomas

These services are coordinated under the guidance of: Dr. Murray Feingold, Physician-in-Chief and Dr. Catherine B. Nowak, Associate Physician-in-Chief.

Genetic Counseling

Genetic counseling is offered to prospective parents concerned about the possibility of genetic diseases affecting their children because of:

• family history or ethnic group
• positive results on a screening or diagnostic test
• mother's age at delivery 35 years or older
• exposures to medications, drugs or chemicals
